4. PINE CONE TURKEY
I've been making this pine cone turkey craft since my very first year teaching! Sometimes, I get lucky and I have a student who has a "pine cone tree" and is able to bring them in for the class. I usually buy the scented pine cones on discount after the holiday season and save them for next year... or I'll buy them for our house and bring in my old ones that have lost their scent. Then, we add feathers, a pipe cleaner head, googly eyes, and a felt beak and waddle.
5. LIFE CYCLE TURKEY
My kiddos loved learning all about the life cycle of a turkey with this adorable turkey craft. They just couldn't get enough of the life cycle spinner! Read more about this craftivity... here!
6. POPSICLE STICK TURKEY
Popsicle crafts are always an adorable keepsake. I like to put magnets on the back, so the kiddos can hang them on their fridge. We used the mini Popsicle sticks and mixed feathers to make this cutie.

8. CRAFT SPOON TURKEY
This little guy was the result of the hundreds of wooden craft spoons, i.e. wooden ice cream taster spoons, I found in my cabinet at school. We just painted the spoon brown and added some feathers, eyes, pipe cleaner feet, and a felt nose.
9. TURKEY TROT
Our "Turkey Trot" number sequence turkey craft and game was another classroom favorite! We sure did enjoy trotting down the life size number line! First, a student rolled a 6-sided or 10-sided die. Then, he/she stood by the number that was rolled. We practiced counting on to 20, as the student trotted on down the number line! Read more about this craftivity... here!
