Meet the Teacher Blogger Linky

Two blog posts back-to-back!  I am seriously on a roll!  I couldn't resist linking up with the amazing Stephanie from Falling into First!

http://fallingintofirst.blogspot.com/2014/08/meet-teacher-linky.html

Here's a little snapshot of my life as a teacher, blogger, wife, aunt, and more...

I've been a Kindergarten Teacher for 11 years, and LOVE it!  My heart belongs to kinder!  I just love how my kindergartners enjoy school so much!  Everything is so new and amazing to them!  I can honestly say I have the best job, work with the most inspiring teachers, and teach the kindest little people!

My husband and I have been married for four fabulous years!  Isn't he so handsome?!  :)

We have a chocolate lab who seriously thinks he is human (see picture)!  He is the most loyal dog I've ever had, so I'm okay with him sleeping on my pillow!

This is a picture of my brother and I at his wedding.  Our birthdays are almost one year apart to the day, so growing up, we always celebrated them together!  I am the older, wiser one, if you can't tell!  LOL!  He has two beautiful children, who I absolutely adore!

Time for a little Q & A...

Q: These are a few of my favorite things…
A: bright colors, boating, shopping, Boom Chicka Pop

Q: If you weren't a teacher, what would you be?
A: While I was growing up, I always wanted to be a teacher or a pediatrician.  I think my calling is room arranger!  Maybe I should contact HGTV regarding my own show all about arranging furniture!

Q: Three little words that describe me...
A: honest, dedicated, creative

Q: It’s your birthday and you can invite anyone {dead or alive} to the party. Who are you inviting?
A: My grandpa, a.k.a. Pup!  What I would give to see him one more time!

Q: You get to pick one superpower. What is it?
A: Oooh, this is a toughie!  I suppose the ability to clone myself.  Not that we need two of me running around, but imagine the stuff I could get done!  LOL!

Q: What's your favorite quote or saying?
A: "It is what it is, but it will become what you make of it!"

Q: If you HAD to sing one song on American Idol, what would it be?
A: Okay!  Let's be honest!  Even though my kinders think I have the best voice in the world, you all do not want to hear me sing!  I think I might sing a little Dr. Jean or Jack Hartmann, though.  ;)

Q: Are you a morning person or a night owl?
A: Total night owl, but only during the summer months!

Q: What’s your favorite resource that you’ve created in your TPT shop?
A: I'd have to say my new poetry binder sets, which I blogged about here!  I am so happy to have August/September all done!  It will make my shared reading time so much easier!

Q: Share something we might not know about you!
A: I used to work at an amusement park as a teen.

Now that you've learned all about me, link up with Stephanie so we can learn all about you too!

  2. I had to laugh at your American Idol song choice... I am always singing little kid songs at home -- especially after my kinder and 1st grade days -- and my husband gets SO tired of it. Ah, well. Comes with the territory of being married to a teacher, huh? :)

  4. My dog totally thinks he's human too. It's a good thing he's cute! Hehe. The ability to clone yourself would be an amazing, and really useful, superpower! I had fun learning all about you!

    1. Thank you, Aimee! I think all dogs must think they are human! He even lets himself him by slapping the door handle down! Thanks for stopping by!
